My name is Don Godfrey

I have created a few different Instagram pages since 2012. They have a combined following of over a million.  I will not only teach you the tips i used to achieve these numbers. But more importantly teach you the tools I have used to help my clients grow their personal brands.

4 years ago I quit my corporate job.  After 10 years I felt I could not grow in my present job. I felt this Social Media/ Instagram thing was going to take off.  My employers at the time told me they did not feel it would be important and still wanted me to focus on Craigslist to make sales.  For the previous 6 months my sales dropped because Craigslist's sales started to drop. I felt Instagram could be the next big thing.

I now help others in growing their brands and help them understand where social media can help them with their branding.

Social Media: Instagram is the strongest marketing for Hairdressers

  • IG is your marketing tool.

  • So how much is that photo valued after it is posted?

  • Know your target audience when doing your posts.

  • Realize on Instagram that 2 out of every 3 of your followers are in that category.

  • People over fifty don't utilize Instagram as much as the younger generation does. That age demographic will be more focused on Facebook and Twitter.

Marketing:  Focus on your demographics and who you are attracting, are you Facebooking?

  • 1. Its FREE 💸💸

  • 2. It's a whole different generation on it.

  • 3. It’s SEO but Instagram business is not

  • 4. Its a website not just an app

  • 5. You can get business reviews

Are you Engaging: You create the Engagement don't wait for them to say hello.  

  • The Clients are basically sitting outside your window waving.  Either wave back or open the door and invite them into your Direct Message.

How to build content:  What are you trying to say to your clients?

  • Do 80 percent stories vs  20 percent News Feed
